This was just some horrendous ongoing nightmare. Yes that was it, there was no other explanation for it besides perhaps acute insanity but even that didn't seem like it could explain all of it.

Devi sat, curled in the corner, her spiky green haired head held in her slender hands as she tried to put her thoughts in order, nothing was making sense anymore; she lit a cigarette whilst looking around her darkened room, no matter how much light poured into her apartment numbered 302 it seemed to have a certain darkness to it. She pushed herself up and off the wall and exited the master bedroom, well actually it was the only bedroom and as she stepped out of it she stood in the small little corridor facing the bathroom door but took the left turn into her living room, wandering around her prison, her apartment. Her eyes tried to avoid the front door for laying her sapphire eyes upon it would fill her with fear, pure all consuming fear.

It had all started about a week ago, with those dreams, no nightmares. Horrible images that flashed through her head every time she tried to sleep causing her to awaken screaming and in a cold sweat, her body trembling in fear.

Against her better judgment her eyes drifted to the door. Thick, heavy, unbreakable chains and strings of what looked like barbed wire anchored it shut, they criss crossed over the oak of the door with padlocks almost as big as the palm of her hand on them, speaking of hands there was a set of bloody handprints on the door now, they were the newest addition to the ever-present horror show that had become her life.

Devi, the old school punk let out a string of colorful obscenities as the cold stab of fear made itself at home in her heart. Again, futilely she attempted to open a window, even though she knew it wouldn't budge no matter how much force she put into it. She tried the phone -no dial tone- her cell phone, well that thing wouldn't even turn on anymore. With a huff she sat in a plush red arm chair, her eyes drifting towards the grandfather clock that stood against her wall that no longer worked.

The Spaniard couldn't say just how long she sat, wondering about what would become of her, but as she looked out her unopenable window Devi noticed that the sky was dark, the last rays of sunset fading into twilight and with horror she realized just how tired her body was, even though her mind was still wide awake in fear. Devi tried to fight back her fatigue, tried to keep her drooping eyes open, but finally she could no longer hold herself up and passed out.

Her living room was dark, her vision blurry but she could still make out the blood that ran down her walls and caused her carpet to become soggy and wet, but had she taken a closer look the girl would have realized that the blood was running up the walls from her carpet. In a slight panic Devi quickly pushed herself up out of the armchair and stumbled away from it only to find herself against the bloodied wall, even though her mind was racing, yelling at herself to wake up, that it was only a dream she had been experiencing for the past few nights, she couldn't and because of this Devi attempted to make her way to the front door as her ears were assaulted by the blood curdling sounds of harsh rattled breathing, pained wails, blood dripping, and the agonized screams of what sounded like torture victims.

Then certain areas of her wall and floors began to ripple before angry decomposing spirits of the damned pulled there way out of what she assumed to be the nether world, reaching cold bony hands for her and Devi screamed, finding herself cornered on the wall by her chained up door.

With a start she awoke, falling out of the chair, her throat raw from the screams she had let out during the nightmare, and her cold yet still sweaty body hurting from where it had hit the floor. Devi shook her head in a vain attempt to rid herself of the images that plagued her mind. With an almost twisted smile she realized that it had been almost a full week since the nightmare had started, since the chains and the blood had appeared on her door, actually it was just a little less then an hour until that anniversary and how she knew this when none of the clocks in her house worked anymore not even Devi could tell.

Her hands shook badly as she lit up another cigarette, it had taken the haunted girl a few tries her tremors were just that bad. Taking a hit from the cigarette Devi let it out with a shaky breath, trying to calm her still racing heart, she had done a good few bad things in her life but she couldn't think of anything that had been bad enough to constitute this living hell she had found herself in. Even as the thought died Devi found that she had turned her sapphire eyes to absentmindedly look at one of the many pictures of Silent Hill that the last tenant had left behind before she had moved in, for some reason she found herself pulled to the picture of that sleepy little town, but she shook that away. This time her eyes drifted to the door thinking back to the when she first woke to find the bloody hand prints there, she had spent a frustrated and tear-full half hour furiously attempting to scrub the them off but to no avail.

A trembling hand reached out to touch the prints, not having realized that she had made her way over to the door, suddenly something inside of the girl snapped and she began to pound on the door and struggle with the chains until her knuckles were bloody and the barbed wire had cut into the flesh of her palms. Somewhere in the middle of this Devi had lost the cherry to her cigarette and threw the rest of it away before turning and running at her windows, her arm pulled back ready to swing. She hit the glass with a spectacular punch, one that could have sent a mans nose straight into his brain, but the window didn't even crack, she did it again, putting all her strength into it but this time instead of the window cracking something else did, a sharp white hot pain began shooting up the length of her arm and with a cry she stumbled away from the window, knowing that her hand had broken.

Moving to sit down in the chair and possibly bandage her know broken hand Devi noticed that the grandfather clock had begun to move, the hands had started to spin wildly until they stopped on what she assumed to be the current time and began to work at a regular pace telling her that there was only about a half minute until midnight, a half minute until she could say she had been trapped in her own personal nightmare for a week. The hands struck midnight and the grandfather began to chime it out, one, two, three, four just as it had always done all the way up until twelve but as the sound of the last chime reverberated through the air and died away Devi heard the bone chilling sounds from her nightmares. Suddenly her sight became hazy and the walls began to run red with blood, the creatures with there decomposing flesh and torn bloodied cloths started to appear from her walls and floor, she was backed up into a wall, a scream ripped from her throat.

Johnny, Tommy, and Alex stood in front of their friends apartment door, they hadn't seen or heard from Devi in a little over a week now and had become more then just a bit worried, the boys continued to knock on her door but no answer, they attempted to kick the door open, but it didn't budge. Finally Johnny lost that infamously short temper and took a fire axe that he had found in the hall to the door, against Tommy's protest that they didn't have the money to pay for a new one and Alex's idea to just find the owner of the building. After making a decent sized hole in the door Johnny looked through and gagged the smell of blood and decay reaching his nose but he continued to look around for Devi before spotting her decomposing body in a corner, a look of sheer terror etched into her features and hand prints burned into her pale skin.

I love it baby! And I love you! It was awesome. Is Devi still mad at you for killing her off? lmao
